I went to the health food store today to pick up more lemons (try and buy fresh lemons every few days) and to try some organic limes, but apparently they are difficult to get these days so it was a no-go. Instead, I splurged and spent 10 dollars on the B-grade amber maple syrup (it was in the bulk oil section, how awesome is this place?!). It tasted like heaven when I tried it at the store, but when I made a glass of lemonade the syrupy taste wasn't as appealing with the lemon as agave is. I decided I'd use it maybe once a day, just to switch up the mineral ingestion (think about it, agave is a desert plant while maple trees are found in decidious forests).
I didn't think to weigh myself one day 1, as weight loss isn't a goal of mine, but I did begin weighing myself yesterday. I weighed myself a week ago on a digital scale, with a reading of 127.5 lbs. Yesterday I was at 128 (on a different scale). However, this morning it read 125 lbs. Just weighed myself again, and it says 126. If it fluctuates any more than this throughout the cleanse, I'll report it.
I noticed yesterday and the end of day one I was congested and sneezing. Today I don't have any issues with congestion, so it's probably just mucus on its way out. I also had a gurgly stomach for awhile today, but no real discomfort. The rest of my day is disc golf and a wine and art festival (I'll probably cheat and have a glass of wine...), with a nice laxative tea as a nigh cap. I've lost count today but I've probably had 5 glasses of lemonade already, and will probably have at least 3 more before the tea tonight.
So farm so good! I am loving this.
